Keep LetsVPN running in the background (for Samsung users)

LetsVPN is possibly forced to shut down due to App Optimization. Please follow the instructions to keep LetsVPN running in the background.

In recent years, Samsung introduced Smart Manager, which helps users optimize their phones. However, it sometimes stops apps running in the background to save battery power. In order to keep LetsVPN running in the background, please follow the instructions below if you are using One UI or Samsung Experience. You will need to 

  • Lock LetsVPN in Recent screen

  • Allow LetsVPN to run in the background

  • Don’t turn on Maximum Power Saving Mode

For One UI users, please follow the instructions presented on the gif,

Lock LetsVPN

  1. Open LetsVPN, swipe to Recent screen

  2. Hold on LetsVPN logo on top

  3. Lock LetsVPN app

  4. You will see a “lock” in the bottom right corner

If you are using Samsung Experience, there will be three-point menu logo in Recent screen. Hold on it and lock LetsVPN app.

Allow LetsVPN to run in the background

Please follow the instructions presented on the gif,

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Apps

  3. Choose LetsVPN, then tap Battery

  4. Turn on "Allow background activity"

Don’t turn on Maximum Power Saving Mode

Please follow the instructions presented on the gif,

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Device Care

  3. Tap Battery, then go to Power mode

  4. Don’t choose Maximum Power Saving Mode

Now you can enjoy our “Stay Connected All the Time ” service!
