EMUI is a custom operating system based on Android that Huawei uses on most Huawei smartphone devices. Here we have specific instructions for different EMUI versions. If you didn’t find your EMUI version, please refer to a similar model. There are two ways to keep your LetsVPN running in the background,
Go to Recent, then lock LetsVPN
Turn on “Run in background” in App Launch

EMUI 9.0
Step 1 Lock LetsVPN
Open LetsVPN
Go to Recent, then pull down LetsVPN app
You will see a “lock” displayed on the top right corner
Step 2 Turn on “Run in background”
Go to Settings
Tap Apps, then tap Apps
Choose LetsVPN
Tap “Power usage details”, then tap App launch
Turn off “Manage automatically”, then turn on “Run in background”
EMUI 8.0
Step 1 Lock LetsVPN
Open LetsVPN
Go to Recent, tap the "lock" displayed on the top right corner
Double check if it is locked
Step 2 Turn on Run in background
Go to “Settings”
Tap “App & notifications”, then tap “Apps”
Choose LetsVPN
Tap “Battery”, then tap “Launch”
Turn off “Manage automatically” and turn on “Run in background”
EMUI 6.0
Step 1 Lock LetsVPN
Open LetsVPN
Go to Recent, then pull down LetsVPN app twice
You will see a “lock” displayed on the top right corner
Step 2 Turn on Run in background
Go to “Settings”
Tap “Apps”
Choose LetsVPN
Tap “Battery”, then turn on “Keep running after screen off”
Now you can enjoy our “Stay Connected All the Time ” service!
